Kate Upton Helps Gillette with this Cause

P&G and Gillette are raising awareness for men's health.

Gillette is partnering with Kate Upton to help raise awareness for men’s health during November. Rallied by their celebrity teammates, members of Team Gillette will be joining Movember’s fight against prostate and testicular cancer.

During the campaign, consumers – both men and women – are invited to join the team, which includes Upton as Captain. Also recruited are: Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews, New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz, New England Patriots wide receiver Danny Amendola, New England Revolution defender Kevin Alston and many more.

Gillette will donate $100 to the “Mo” (aka Moustache) Space pages of the first 250 men and women who sign up on Team Gillette. The brand is promoting how its Fusion ProGlide Styler will keep Mo’s looking stylish.

Mo Bros can share their progress online at Movember.com or on Twitter and Facebook with the hashtags #Movember and #TeamGillette.

“As a leading male grooming brand, we’re thrilled to be a major partner of Movember and to help men stay stylish while also raising awareness for important men’s health issues,” added Hooman Shahidi, senior brand manager, North America.

Team Gillette’s members will also have the chance to win prizes, including tickets and on-the-field experiences at NFL games, one-of-a-kind pieces of Movember art from artists curated by Complex, signed gear from some of their Movember teammates and more.

But first, to kick off the campaign, the brand will host ‘Shave Down Day’ on November 1st.

Team Gillette’s star roster of Boston-based athletes will participate in a ceremonial shave down event of their own at Gillette Stadium – shaving their faces completely. Team Gillette participants across the country can participate in “Shave the Date: Movember 1” events in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston and Boston.
